A dive chronograph you can use at depth.

Three things separate the F385 from an ordinary chronograph. A column wheel is the traditional way to control start, stop and reset, and it gives the pushers a clean, even feel. A vertical clutch engages the chronograph without the small jump a horizontal clutch produces, so the seconds hand starts dead on. Flyback means that with the chronograph running, one press of the lower pusher resets it to zero and restarts it in the same motion, which is what a diver or a pilot timing consecutive legs actually needs.

The rest is Bathyscaphe: the ceramic case, which does not scratch and does not care about salt, the ceramic bezel with markers in Liquidmetal alloy bonded into it, the luminous dots and the red-tipped seconds. In all black the only colour on the watch is the luminous paint and that red tip.
