Blancpain’s 1241H pairs it with a second time zone, so the watch can be set to home time on the 24-hour subdial at six, local time on the main hands, and the alarm to whichever meeting matters. The red-tipped arc at eleven is not the watch’s power reserve; it shows how much of the alarm spring is left.

The dial is the L-Evolution language of the 2010s: vertical stripes, a luminous 9 and 3 large enough to read across a room, luminous batons between them, and the subdials set into the stripes rather than printed on top. The case is polished steel with a wide bezel and a sapphire back to watch the alarm hammer work.

The dealer’s description is the whole listing: 8841-1134-53B, steel, 43.5 by 13.75mm, transparent back, black alligator, grey dial with luminous Arabic numerals, GMT, date, calibre 1241H, 38 jewels, sapphire, 40-hour reserve, 100 metres. The Amazon rows underneath carry no specs at all, so there is nothing to contradict. The photograph matches the description.

L-Evolution was discontinued, so this is likely older stock or a serviced piece; whether it is new with Blancpain’s warranty is not stated in the rows we read. Ask, and ask for the box and papers.
