Franck Muller · Vanguard Racing · chronograph · steel · white dial · on Amazon
The Racing Vanguard, in black and white.
The monochrome one. Same V 45 chronograph in polished steel as the orange and yellow Racings on this page, but the ring inside the bezel is black, the pushers and crown guard are black, and the dial is white with the numerals outlined in black, a 30-minute counter at three, small seconds at nine and a date at six, on a perforated black leather strap stitched in white. Inside is the FM 7000, a decorated Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph, 30 metres. No coloured accent anywhere. Sold on Amazon by an independent dealer.

Racing without the colour
Racing is the Vanguard chronograph dressed for a paddock: a ring inside the bezel carrying the minute scale, wrapped pushers and crown guard, numerals outlined so they read at a glance, and a strap perforated like a driving glove. On the orange and yellow versions the colour does the talking. On this one everything that would be coloured is black, the dial is white, and the result is the most legible dial Franck Muller puts in this case: black numerals on white, black-ringed counters, a black date frame.
The FM 7000 inside is Franck Muller’s decorated version of the Valjoux 7750, the automatic chronograph movement most of the industry has relied on for fifty years, with about 42 hours of reserve, a 30-minute counter at three and small seconds at nine. The case is the same curved steel barrel as every V 45, about 44 by 54mm, and the strap runs into it rather than hanging from lugs.

Reading the listing
The listing is a title and a dealer code: Vanguard Racing White Dial Black Rubber with Leather Insert Strap Chronograph Automatic Watch, 45CCWHTBLK. There are no spec rows and no description, so the case dimensions, calibre, reserve and water resistance here are Franck Muller’s published figures for the V 45 chronograph, not the dealer’s. The photograph matches the reference: steel case, black flange, white dial, black-outlined numerals, two counters, date at six, perforated strap with white stitching. The model code is the dealer’s, not a Franck Muller reference.
Whether the watch is new with Franck Muller’s warranty is not stated in the rows we read; ask, and ask for the box and papers. Every figure here comes from the listing and from Franck Muller’s published description, not from handling the watch.

Buying it on Amazon
This is a regular Amazon listing from an independent dealer, Luxor Watches on the day we read it, with Amazon’s 30-day return window; it is not a Luxury Stores pre-owned unit. The second button opens the live search for white-dial Vanguard Racings in case this one has sold.
Steel Vanguards have resold for well under new and close to what pre-owned buyers paid, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.

Verdict
A steel Vanguard Racing chronograph with a white dial and black trim, on Amazon from a dealer: the most legible Racing and the only one without a colour to commit to.
Strengths
- White dial with black-outlined numerals; the easiest Racing to read
- FM 7000 automatic chronograph on the Valjoux 7750 base
- No coloured accent; goes with anything the orange and yellow do not
- Amazon’s return window on a dealer listing
Trade-offs
- About 44 by 54mm and thick; a big watch
- 30 metres only
- Condition and warranty not stated; ask
- Listing has no specs or description

Same steel V 45 chronograph, same layout and FM 7000 movement. This one has a white dial with black-outlined numerals and a black flange, pushers and stitching; the others have black dials with orange or yellow trim.
