A 45 by 54mm case in solid rose gold is heavy; Franck Muller makes the V 45 in gold with a titanium trim so the parts you see are gold and the parts against the wrist are not. The look is unchanged, the weight is not, and the price sits below the all-gold Vanguards on this page. The reference says it plainly: 5N for the rose gold alloy, TT for the titanium.

The dial is the Vanguard formula in grey: a guilloche ground, the twelve applied numerals outlined in gold and stretched to follow the curve, a compass bearing ring at the edge with north at twelve, a date at six and luminous hands. Inside is the FM 2800, a decorated ETA 2892 automatic, which is why an SC costs less than the chronographs in the same case.

The dealer’s description is complete and matches the photograph: rose gold with titanium trim, 45 by 54mm, 14mm thick, screw-in back, grey guilloche dial, applied numerals with a rose gold outline, date at six, sapphire, Swiss automatic, 30 metres, grey leather-topped rubber strap with a deployment buckle, reference V 45 SC DT 5N TT. The Amazon rows carry package dimensions and the reference only. The one difference we saw: the description calls the numerals white, and in the photograph the fill reads dark grey with the gold outline.
