Girard-Perregaux drew the Hawk in 2012 as a sport case to sit beside the Laureato: the same octagon idea, but inverted, with the eight sides on the case and a round bezel inside them, and lugs that fold under so the strap comes straight out of the case. At 44mm in titanium it is big but not heavy, and the black coating turns the octagon into a shadow with the bezel as the only bright edge.

The dial is a hexagonal honeycomb pressed into grey, with the markers in rose gold and filled with luminous paint so they read at night, and the two counters sunk in black with gold rings. The GP03300 underneath is the same in-house automatic that runs the Laureato chronograph on this page, with about 46 hours of reserve.
