Laureato, 1975

Girard-Perregaux launched the Laureato in 1975, a year before the Nautilus, as a quartz watch with an octagonal bezel set on a round case and a bracelet integrated into the lugs. It went away and came back several times; the current line from 2017 keeps the shape, puts an in-house automatic inside and brushes and polishes the case so the octagon catches light at eight points.

The chronograph version keeps the 42mm case and adds the GP03300 with a chronograph module: counters at three, six and nine, a date at half past four, pushers on the right.
