The H-10 is Hamilton’s automatic caliber built on an ETA 2824-2 base and re-engineered for an 80-hour power reserve, against the roughly two days the base movement manages. It runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour on 25 jewels and winds from the wrist.

Eighty hours is the figure that changes how you own the watch. Take it off Friday evening and it is still running Monday morning, correct and ready, without a wind or a reset. That is the argument for the H-10 over cheaper automatics.

Hamilton has supplied watches to aviators since the early twentieth century, and the Khaki Aviation line is where that history lives in the current catalogue. The Pilot Auto family carries the cues: large Arabic numerals, a bold triangle at 12, and cathedral-style hands designed to be read in a dim cockpit.
