The wave dial, back in ceramic
The Seamaster Diver 300M arrived in 1993 with a wave-pattern dial and a helium valve, and became the Bond watch two years later. Omega’s 2018 redesign brought the waves back, this time laser-engraved into a ceramic dial, and moved the whole line onto Master Chronometer movements certified by METAS for accuracy and for resisting 15,000-gauss magnets.
Calibre 8800 is the time-and-date version of that movement, with a silicon balance spring and about 55 hours of reserve, visible through the sapphire back.

Sedna gold on rubber
Omega makes this reference in steel, in two-tone, and in this all-Sedna-gold version on the blue rubber strap, which keeps the weight down and the watch honest about being a diver. Sedna is Omega’s red gold alloy with palladium in it so the colour lasts; the bezel numerals are ceramic-on-ceramic. The listing includes the box.
Every figure here comes from the Amazon spec table and Omega’s published specification for the reference, not from handling the watch.

Buying it new on Amazon
This unit is listed new by an independent dealer through Amazon, with Amazon’s 30-day return window on top of the dealer’s warranty; read the warranty line on the listing, because Omega’s own warranty runs from an authorised sale.
Gold Omegas resell below their retail price on the secondary market, which is why dealer stock like this sits on Amazon under boutique retail. Buy it for the wrist. Nothing here is investment advice.

Verdict
The Bond Seamaster in solid Sedna gold with the ceramic wave dial, Master Chronometer inside, new from a dealer with the box.
Strengths
- Calibre 8800: METAS-certified, anti-magnetic, 55-hour reserve
- 300m, helium valve, ceramic dial and bezel
- Sedna gold on rubber: the light way to wear a gold diver
- New, with Amazon’s return window and the box
Trade-offs
- Gold Omegas resell below retail
- Rubber strap on a gold watch is not for everyone
- Dealer warranty, not Omega’s from purchase
- 42mm and 13.5mm-ish thick; a substantial watch
