The Aqua Terra is the Seamaster for people who like the Seamaster case and do not need a rotating bezel. Omega gave it a smooth bezel, a symmetrical case with the twisted lugs, and a dial with horizontal stripes that Omega compares to the teak deck of a sailing yacht; the 2017 generation, which this is, turned the stripes horizontal from the earlier vertical ones and moved the date to six. At 41mm with 150 metres of water resistance it is a sports watch that wears like a dress watch.

The movement is the 8900, a bigger sibling of the 8800 in the Diver 300M: two barrels, about 60 hours, a silicon balance spring, and the same METAS Master Chronometer certification. Omega has since replaced this blue dial in the current catalogue, which is why the reference shows as no longer available on Omega’s site; that makes this a dealer’s stock of the earlier version, not a current-production watch.
