The Worldtimer’s dial is a map of the earth seen from above the North Pole, laser-ablated into a titanium disc on this reference, ringed by a 24-hour track in day and night colours and an outer ring of 24 city names. Set the city ring so home is at twelve and every city’s hour reads off the 24-hour ring at once; the GMT hand adds a second time zone on the outer scale. It is the complication travellers who cross many zones actually use, and Omega puts it in an Aqua Terra rather than a dress watch so it has 150 metres and a screw-in crown.

In grade 5 titanium the 43mm case weighs about 94 grams on the rubber strap, less than half the steel version on a bracelet. The calibre 8938 is Master Chronometer, so it has passed METAS’s eight tests including 15,000 gauss, and it runs about 60 hours. The seller’s title says pre-owned with no grade, so ask about the case and the crystal before buying; the same seller has a second listing of this reference without a photograph at a lower price, ASIN B0FRYKKBBZ, which this page does not link because there is nothing to check it against.

The listing carries the reference 220.92.43.22.99.001 in the title and model row and calls it a 43mm titanium automatic worldtimer GMT with 150 metres on a rubber band, pre-owned. The photograph shows the titanium case, the black bezel, the grey map dial with its 24-hour and city rings, the GMT hand, the date at six and the rubber strap. The thickness, lug width, lug to lug, weight, calibre, certification and reserve are Omega’s published figures for the reference.

The seller is MS-TR JAPAN, a marketplace seller, and the rows we read do not state whether the watch is new with Omega’s five-year warranty; ask, and ask for the box and card. Nothing here was measured on the watch.
