This is the 2018 Seamaster Diver 300M with the bracelet swapped for Omega’s black rubber strap: the same 42mm steel case, black ceramic wave dial, black ceramic bezel with a white enamel scale, skeleton hands, the date at six, the helium valve at ten, closed with a steel pin buckle. Inside is the calibre 8800, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer certified by METAS, with about 55 hours of reserve and 300 metres on the case. On rubber it weighs 109 grams against 194 on the bracelet, and it is the least expensive current Seamaster Diver 300M on this page. The 2018 Seamaster, on the strap
Omega rebuilt the Seamaster Diver 300M for its 25th anniversary in 2018 and gave it back the wave dial of the 1993 original, laser-engraved into polished ceramic this time so it never fades. The bezel insert is ceramic too, with the diving scale in white enamel, and the movement is the 8800, a Master Chronometer tested by METAS for accuracy and for resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. The helium valve at ten kept its place and got a conical shape; the date moved to six.
Omega sells the same head on a bracelet or on its own rubber strap, and the strap version is the one divers and swimmers actually pick: it dries in a minute, it does not pinch, and it takes a big chunk off the price. The rubber is moulded with a wave pattern on the outside, the buckle is a plain steel pin, and the head is the black-dial 42mm with everything the bracelet watch has. If you want the bracelet later, Omega’s fits the 20mm lugs.

The one figure that disagrees with Omega is the thickness: the dealer says 11mm, Omega publishes 13.56mm, and the copy here uses Omega’s.
