In the 1990s Omega made a Seamaster in titanium, tantalum and rose gold that collectors still hunt for; in 2019 it made this one to honour it, limited to 2,500 pieces. The case is brushed grade 2 titanium, the crown, the bezel ring and the helium valve are 18k Sedna gold, and the base of the bezel is tantalum, a heavy blue-grey metal that almost no one else uses in a watch. The dial is titanium with sun-brushed waves, the hands and markers are Sedna gold, there is no date, and the bracelet is titanium with tantalum and Sedna gold centre links. Inside is the calibre 8806, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer certified by METAS, with about 55 hours of reserve and 300 metres on the case. Omega no longer lists it. Sold on Amazon by a marketplace dealer.

Tantalum, and why it matters
Tantalum is a dense, dark, blue-grey metal that is miserable to machine and that Omega used on a handful of Seamasters in the 1990s alongside titanium and rose gold. Those watches became cult pieces. This reference brings the combination back on the 2018 Diver 300M case: titanium for the body and bracelet, tantalum for the bezel base and the bracelet’s outer centre links, Sedna gold for the bezel ring, crown, valve, hands, markers and inner centre links. On the wrist it reads as a grey watch with warm edges, and at 161 grams it is lighter than the steel version despite the gold.
It is also the rare Diver 300M with no date. Omega fitted the calibre 8806, the no-date sibling of the 8800, and left the dial symmetrical. The waves on the dial are sun-brushed into titanium rather than engraved into ceramic, so they catch light differently from the ceramic dials on the steel watches.
Reading the listing
The listing carries the full reference, 210.60.42.20.99.001, in the title and the model row, and calls the dial grey; there is no description beyond that. Everything else here, the three metals, the 2,500-piece edition, the calibre 8806 and its METAS certification, the reserve, the dimensions, the bracelet and the no-date dial, is Omega’s published description of the reference, and the photograph matches it. Omega lists the reference as no longer available, so this is a dealer’s stock of a discontinued limited edition.
The seller is Luxor Watches, a marketplace dealer, and the rows we read do not state whether the watch is new with Omega’s warranty or which number of the 2,500 it is; ask, and ask for the box and card. Nothing here was measured on the watch.
