Omega rebuilt the Seamaster Diver 300M for its 25th anniversary in 2018 and gave it back the wave dial of the 1993 original, laser-engraved into polished ceramic this time so it never fades. The bezel insert is ceramic too, with the diving scale in white enamel, and the movement is the 8800, a Master Chronometer tested by METAS for accuracy and for resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. The helium valve at ten kept its place and got a conical shape; the date moved to six.

Omega added the white ceramic dial to the Diver 300M in 2021, and it changed the watch more than a colour swap should. The waves are cut into white ceramic and read as texture rather than pattern; the hands and the marker rims are blackened so they stand off the dial; the Seamaster script is red, and so is the tip of the seconds hand. Against the black bezel it is the highest-contrast Seamaster Omega makes, and the one that looks least like a dive watch and most like a design object.
