Rolex · Lady-Datejust 26 · 179174 · steel · black Roman dial · Crownclasp Jubilee · pre-owned on Amazon
The steel Lady-Datejust with the black Roman dial.
This is the 2000s steel Lady-Datejust in its most legible dial: reference 179174, a 26mm steel Oyster case with the fluted 18k white gold bezel, a black dial with Roman numerals, the date under its Cyclops at three, on the steel Jubilee bracelet with the concealed Crownclasp. Inside is Rolex’s calibre 2235, an automatic chronometer with a quickset date and about 42 hours of reserve; 100 metres. WGACA grades it Excellent with light scratching on the crystal and hardware. The 179174
The Lady-Datejust is the Datejust at 26mm, the size Rolex made for women from the 1950s until it moved the line to 28mm in 2015. It is the same watch in miniature: an Oyster case with a screw-down crown, an automatic chronometer movement, the date under its Cyclops lens at three, a fluted or engine-turned bezel, and a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. Because Rolex made them for six decades in every dial and metal, the pre-owned market is deep and this is where the money goes when people search for a women’s Rolex.
The 179174 is the 2000s steel Lady-Datejust: the same 26mm case and white gold fluted bezel as the 1990s 79174 on this page, with a heavier Jubilee that hides its clasp under a small crown, and the calibre 2235 inside. Black with Roman numerals is the dial that reads at arm’s length; the light scratching on the crystal the seller notes is worth a close-up.

Reading the listing
WGACA gives the reference as 179174, the size as 26mm, the case as steel with a fluted bezel and sapphire, the movement as quickset automatic, the clasp as a hidden crown clasp and the condition as Excellent with light scratching to the crystal and hardware. It does not state box, papers or year. The black Roman dial and the Jubilee are from the title and the photograph; the white gold bezel, calibre 2235, chronometer rating, reserve and 100 metres are Rolex’s published figures for the 179174.
WGACA authenticates in-house and is not a Rolex authorised dealer, and Amazon adds its 30-day return window. Ask for the serial, whether box or papers come with it, and when it was last serviced. Nothing here was measured on the watch.

Buying it on Amazon
This unit is sold by What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA) through Amazon Luxury Stores, authenticated by the seller with Amazon’s 30-day return window on top; it is one piece, and when it sells the listing goes away, so the second button opens the live search for 26mm Lady-Datejusts.
Steel and two-tone Lady-Datejusts have resold close to what pre-owned buyers paid, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.
