The Lady-Datejust is the Datejust at 26mm, the size Rolex made for women from the 1950s until it moved the line to 28mm in 2015. It is the same watch in miniature: an Oyster case with a screw-down crown, an automatic chronometer movement, the date under its Cyclops lens at three, a fluted or engine-turned bezel, and a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. Because Rolex made them for six decades in every dial and metal, the pre-owned market is deep and this is where the money goes when people search for a women’s Rolex.

Most Lady-Datejusts on this page are on the five-link Jubilee; this one is on the Oyster, the flat three-link bracelet from the sports models, which wears a little more solidly and hides scratches better because the links are brushed. With a steel case and a white gold fluted bezel it is the 179174 layout of the 2000s. Rebag’s listing has one row to read past: the band material says 18k white gold, and the photograph shows steel; the white gold on this watch is the bezel. Graded Good with dings on the band and no accessories, so it is priced as a wearer.
