Rolex · Datejust 41 · white Rolesor · black dial · pre-owned on Amazon
The Datejust 41 in black, with its card.
The 41mm Datejust with the dial that goes with everything: black with luminous batons, under an 18k white gold fluted bezel on a steel case and Oyster bracelet. Calibre 3235, about 70 hours of reserve. This unit comes with its box and a dated warranty card, and is graded Very Good with scratches and minor wear, which is why it costs less than the Excellent-graded 41 with the white Roman dial on this page. Pre-owned through a Luxury Stores reseller.

Why the black dial
A Datejust dial comes in a dozen colours and the black one is the one that disappears: it reads as a dark watch under a cuff and as a Rolex when the fluted bezel catches light. The luminous batons and hands glow, which a Roman-numeral dial does not. On the 41 the dial is large enough that the black reads as a field rather than a disc.
The Datejust 41 of 2016 slimmed the Datejust II back to the classic proportions and put the calibre 3235 inside, with about 70 hours of reserve and Rolex’s plus-or-minus-two-seconds-a-day standard. It has been the men’s Datejust since.

Reading the listing
Rebag gives the numbers rather than the reference: 41mm, 12mm tall, 21mm at the lugs, steel case and bracelet, black dial, sized to about 7.5 inches. The photograph shows the fluted white gold bezel and the plain DATEJUST dial line, which together with the Oyster bracelet make it the 126334; the warranty card that comes with it will confirm.
The condition grade is Very Good with scratches and minor wear to the case and bracelet, one step below the Excellent grade on the other Datejust 41 on this page, and the price reflects that. A steel Rolex with scratches is a steel Rolex a polish will not fix perfectly and does not need to. Every figure here comes from the listing and from Rolex’s published description, not from handling the watch.

Buying it pre-owned on Amazon
Rolex is pre-owned only on Amazon. This unit is sold by Rebag through Amazon Luxury Stores, authenticated by the seller with Amazon’s 30-day return window on top; it is one piece, and when it sells the listing goes away, so the second button opens the live search for black Datejust 41s.
Steel Datejusts have resold close to what people paid for them for a long time, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.

Verdict
A worn, card-and-box Datejust 41 with a black dial and the white gold fluted bezel, pre-owned on Amazon: the modern men’s Datejust at the lower of the two prices on this page.
Strengths
- Black luminous dial under a white gold fluted bezel
- Calibre 3235 with about 70 hours of reserve
- Box and dated warranty card included
- Amazon’s return window on top of the seller’s authentication
Trade-offs
- Very Good, not Excellent: visible scratches and wear
- 41mm is large on a small wrist
- Reference not stated; confirm from the card
- One unit; when it sells, it is gone
Buy it if
Someone who wants the Datejust 41 to wear every day, does not mind a few marks, and wants the card with it.
Skip it if
You want a watch that looks unworn, the 36, or a coloured dial.
FAQ
The listing does not say. A 41mm Datejust in steel with a fluted white gold bezel on an Oyster bracelet, with the plain DATEJUST dial line, is the 126334; the warranty card will confirm.
