The Oyster Perpetual is the Rolex with nothing added: the Oyster case, the Perpetual rotor, a smooth bezel, no date, a Superlative Chronometer inside. Rolex makes it in 28, 31, 34, 36 and 41mm, and pre-owned it is the least expensive way to a Rolex that says Oyster Perpetual on the dial, which is why the small sizes on this page cost what a Datejust does.

The blue baton dial is the Oyster Perpetual 34 at its plainest: no numerals, no date, a sunray blue that goes navy indoors. Rebag has two blue OP 34s on this page; the other has the Explorer-style 3-6-9 dial and a larger sizing. Neither states a reference; the serial says whether it is the 2007 to 2020 generation with the calibre 3130 or the 2020-on one with the 3230 and 70 hours.

Rebag gives the case at 34mm and 11mm high, the band at 18mm, a wrist size of about 6.5 inches, the band and case as stainless steel, the dial colour as blue, an automatic movement with a screw-down crown, no accessories, and the condition as Very Good with slight scratches, and no reference. The smooth bezel, blue baton dial and Oyster bracelet are from the photograph. The 114200 or 124200 match and its calibre are Rolex’s published figures for the reference it appears to be.
