What changed in 2025
The Black Bay 58 was already the Tudor most people bought; in 2025 Tudor rebuilt it. The case dropped from about 11.9mm to 11.7mm, the calibre became the MT5400-U with the METAS Master Chronometer certificate on top of COSC, and the bracelet option grew a five-link Jubilee-style version with polished centre links. The burgundy bezel and dial are the colour Tudor launched the new generation in, a step deeper than the old red 58 and matched dial to bezel.
No date, snowflake hands, 200 metres, and about 65 hours of reserve: the formula is unchanged, the execution is newer.
Reading the listing
The listing carries the reference M7939A1A0RU-0001 in the model row and calls it a 39mm automatic with 200 metres, a sapphire crystal, a burgundy dial and bezel and a five-link steel band. The photograph shows the burgundy bezel and dial, applied markers, snowflake hands and the five-link bracelet. The thickness, lug width, calibre, both certifications and the reserve are Tudor’s published figures for the reference.
The seller is Watchsavings, a marketplace seller. Ask the seller whether it is new with Tudor’s five-year guarantee card, and for the box; the rows we read do not say. Nothing here was measured on the watch.

Master Chronometer: on top of the COSC chronometer test, the cased-up watch passes the Swiss federal metrology institute’s tests for accuracy, magnetic resistance to 15,000 gauss, water resistance and power reserve. Tudor’s -U calibres carry it.
