The fixed-bezel GMT
The Black Bay Pro is Tudor’s take on the fixed-bezel explorer’s GMT: the 24-hour scale is engraved on a steel bezel that does not turn, so the second time zone is read straight off the yellow hand, and the case is the sturdier 39mm with a taller 14.6mm profile to house the MT5652. The 2024 opaline dial turned the black-dial Pro into a white-dial watch with black-outlined markers, which is the version that photographs and the one that gets asked for.
Same calibre as the 41mm Black Bay GMT, same 70 hours, same jumping local hour; the difference is the fixed bezel and the smaller case.

Reading the listing
The listing carries the reference M79470-0004 in the model row and calls it a 39mm automatic with 200 metres, a sapphire crystal, a steel bracelet and an opaline dial. The photograph shows the fixed steel 24-hour bezel, the white dial with black-outlined markers, the yellow GMT hand, the date at three and the riveted bracelet. The thickness, lug width, calibre, COSC certification, reserve and the rapid-adjust clasp are Tudor’s published figures for the reference.
The seller is Watchsavings, a marketplace seller. Ask the seller whether it is new with Tudor’s five-year guarantee card, and for the box; the rows we read do not say. Nothing here was measured on the watch.

Buying it on Amazon
This is a regular Amazon listing from a marketplace seller with Amazon’s 30-day return window; it is not a Luxury Stores pre-owned unit and the seller has not published a condition. The second button opens the live search for Black Bay GMTs in case this one has sold.
Black Bay Pros have resold for under new and close to what pre-owned buyers paid, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.

Someone who wants an explorer-style GMT with a white dial and does not need a rotating bezel.
Skip it if
You want a thinner watch, a rotating bezel, or a stated condition.
FAQ
The yellow 24-hour hand points at the fixed bezel’s 24-hour scale for home time; the local hour hand jumps in one-hour steps from the crown when you land.
