TAG Heuer · Carrera Chronograph 44 · Calibre Heuer 02 · green · on Amazon
The green Carrera, well under list.
This is TAG Heuer’s 44mm Carrera Chronograph with the in-house Calibre Heuer 02 in the colour that sells: a green sunray dial with three counters and a date at six, a steel tachymeter bezel, a black PVD crown, on the steel H-link bracelet. The Heuer 02 is a column-wheel, vertical-clutch automatic chronograph with about 80 hours of reserve, visible through the sapphire caseback, and the case is rated to 100 metres. When we read the listing it was priced well under TAG Heuer’s own figure for the reference. Sold on Amazon by a marketplace dealer.

The Heuer 02, and the green
The Carrera is Heuer’s racing chronograph of 1963, designed by Jack Heuer for drivers who needed to read a chronograph at a glance: a clean dial, big counters and the minute track pushed out to the flange so nothing gets in the way. TAG Heuer has made it in every size and movement since, and the current line splits into the 44mm sport chronographs with the tachymeter bezel and the smaller glassbox watches that look back at the 1960s.
The Heuer 02 is the movement that made the 44mm Carrera a serious chronograph: TAG Heuer’s own column-wheel calibre with a vertical clutch, so the seconds hand starts without a stutter, and about 80 hours of reserve, so it runs through a long weekend. The green sunray dial arrived in 2020 and became the colour people ask for; the steel bezel keeps the tachymeter readable and the black crown is the one dark note on the case.

Reading the listing
The listing carries the full reference, CBN2A10.BA0643, in the title and the model row, and the dealer’s description lists the green dial, the fine-brushed and polished steel case, the steel bracelet, the automatic movement and 100 metres. The photograph shows the steel tachymeter bezel, the three counters, the date and the H-link bracelet. The Calibre Heuer 02, reserve, thickness, lug width, black PVD crown and sapphire caseback are TAG Heuer’s published specifications for the reference.
The dealer is Luxor Watches, a marketplace dealer, and the rows we read do not state whether the watch is new with TAG Heuer’s warranty; ask, and ask for the box and card. Nothing here was measured on the watch.

Buying it on Amazon
This is a regular Amazon listing from a marketplace seller with Amazon’s 30-day return window; it is not a Luxury Stores pre-owned unit and the seller has not published a condition. The second button opens the live search for Carreras in case this one has sold.
Carreras have resold for under new and close to what pre-owned buyers paid, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.

The green Carrera Chronograph 44 with the in-house Heuer 02 and about 80 hours, on Amazon from a marketplace dealer well under TAG Heuer’s list price, with the reference on the listing.

FAQ
TAG Heuer’s in-house automatic chronograph, introduced in 2017 as the Heuer 02 and renamed TH20-00 in 2023: a column wheel, vertical clutch, 28,800 vph and about 80 hours of reserve. The Calibre 16 in the cheaper Carreras is an ETA 7750-based movement with about 48 hours.
