TAG Heuer · Carrera Chronograph x Porsche · 44mm · asphalt dial · on Amazon
The Porsche Carrera. Asphalt dial, in-house TH20-00.
This is the Carrera TAG Heuer made with Porsche in 2021: a 44mm steel case, a ceramic tachymeter bezel with the Porsche name in red at twelve, a grey dial textured like tarmac with three counters, red accents and a date at six, on the steel H-link bracelet. Inside is the TH20-00, the renamed Calibre Heuer 02, a column-wheel automatic chronograph with about 80 hours of reserve, and the case is rated to 100 metres. Two racing names on one dial. Sold on Amazon by a marketplace dealer at about TAG Heuer’s own price.

Two racing names
The Carrera is Heuer’s racing chronograph of 1963, designed by Jack Heuer for drivers who needed to read a chronograph at a glance: a clean dial, big counters and the minute track pushed out to the flange so nothing gets in the way. TAG Heuer has made it in every size and movement since, and the current line splits into the 44mm sport chronographs with the tachymeter bezel and the smaller glassbox watches that look back at the 1960s.
TAG Heuer and Porsche both have a Carrera, named for the same Mexican road race, and in 2021 they made one together. The dial is textured to look like asphalt, the counters and hands carry the red of Porsche’s instruments, and the bezel says Porsche where the tachymeter would start. Underneath it is the standard 44mm Heuer 02 Carrera, so you get the in-house column-wheel chronograph and the 80-hour reserve with the collaboration on top.

Reading the listing
The listing’s title is just the brand; the model row carries the full reference, CBN2A1F.BA0643, and the dealer’s description lists the grey dial, steel case and bracelet, automatic movement and 100 metres. The photograph shows the Porsche bezel, the asphalt dial, the red accents and the date. The TH20-00, reserve and caseback are TAG Heuer’s published specifications for the reference.
The dealer is World Of Watches, a marketplace dealer, and the rows we read do not state whether the watch is new with TAG Heuer’s warranty; ask, and ask for the box and card. Nothing here was measured on the watch.

Buying it on Amazon
This is a regular Amazon listing from a marketplace seller with Amazon’s 30-day return window; it is not a Luxury Stores pre-owned unit and the seller has not published a condition. The second button opens the live search for Carreras in case this one has sold.
Carreras have resold for under new and close to what pre-owned buyers paid, sometimes more, sometimes less; that is a pattern, not a promise, and nothing here is investment advice.

The Carrera Chronograph x Porsche with the asphalt dial and the in-house TH20-00 on the bracelet, on Amazon from a marketplace dealer at about TAG Heuer’s price with the reference on the listing.
Strengths
- In-house TH20-00: column wheel, about 80 hours
- The Porsche collaboration dial and bezel
- Ceramic tachymeter bezel; steel bracelet

Trade-offs
- Condition and warranty not stated by the dealer; ask
- 44mm; a big watch
- A branded dial is a taste

FAQ
TAG Heuer’s in-house automatic chronograph, introduced in 2017 as the Heuer 02 and renamed TH20-00 in 2023: a column wheel, vertical clutch, 28,800 vph and about 80 hours of reserve. The Calibre 16 in the cheaper Carreras is an ETA 7750-based movement with about 48 hours.
